Western Heights

Western Heights is a suburb on the western boundary of the city of Hamilton in the Waikato region of the North Island of New Zealand. Skyline landmarks include Dinsdale water reservoir, the adjacent Newcastle reservoir, one of the largest in the city holding 21,000 m3, and a block of gum trees.

Hamilton Zoo

Hamilton Zoo is the main zoological garden of Hamilton, New Zealand. Covering 25 hectares, it is situated on Brymer Road in the Hamilton suburb of Rotokauri, on the outskirts of the metropolitan area towards the northwest. Hamilton Zoo is situated 2½ km northwest of Western Heights.

Fraser High School is a secondary school in Hamilton, New Zealand. The school began in 1920 as Hamilton Technical Day School.

Seddon Park

Seddon Park is a cricket ground in Hamilton, New Zealand. It is the fourth-largest cricket ground in the country, and is renowned for its "village green" setting, affording a picnic atmosphere for spectators. Seddon Park is situated 3½ km east of Western Heights.

Dinsdale is the westernmost suburb of Hamilton in New Zealand. Originally called Frankton West, it was renamed in July 1961 after Thomas Dinsdale. Dinsdale grew rapidly in the 1960s.
