Belzec extermination camp

Belzec was a Nazi German extermination camp in occupied Poland. It was built by the SS for the purpose of implementing the secretive Operation Reinhard, the plan to murder all Polish Jews, a major part of the "Final Solution", the overall Nazi effort to complete the genocide of all European Jews. Belzec extermination camp is situated 730 metres southeast of Bełżec Station.

Bełżec Museum and Memorial Site, also known as Museum – Memorial Site in Bełżec is a memorial complex and martyrology museum located on the grounds of the former German Nazi Belzec extermination camp, commemorating approximately 450,000 Jews from Poland and other European countries who were killed there between 1942 and 1943. Belzec Memorial Museum is situated 770 metres southeast of Bełżec Station.
