Waterloo Public Square is a stop on the Region of Waterloo's Ion rapid transit system. It is located on the Waterloo Spur rail line in Waterloo, between Willis Way and Erb Street at King Street, and at the north end of its namesake, the Waterloo Public Square. Waterloo Public Square station is situated 120 metres east of Waterloo Square 1.

The Waterloo Public Library is the public library system for Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1888, the library has four branches, as of May 2025. Waterloo Public Library is situated 200 metres north of Waterloo Square 1.
