Fort of Rosemont

The fort of Rosemont is a fortification located in the French city of Besançon. Built on the summit of the hill of Rosemont during the Franco-Prussian War to support the fort of Planoise and the fort of Chaudanne, it was composed of two buildings which had six rooms.

The Basilica of St. Ferjeux is an eclectic Roman-Zyzantine-style basilica situated in Besançon, in the quartier of Saint-Ferjeux. It is dedicated to the patron saints of Besançon, Ferreolus and Ferrutio. Basilica of Saint-Ferjeux is situated 1½ km northwest of Fort of Rosemont.
