Roman Thermal Bath

The Roman Thermae are a complex of Ancient Roman baths in the Black Sea port city of Varna in northeastern Bulgaria. The Roman Thermae are situated in the southeastern part of the modern city, which under the Roman Empire was known as Odessus. Roman Thermal Bath is situated 4 km north of Zelenika.

Varna Aquarium

The Varna Aquarium or Aquarium Varna is a public aquarium in Varna, Bulgaria's largest city on the Black Sea coast. The aquarium's exhibition focuses on the Black Sea's flora and fauna which includes over 140 fish species, but also features freshwater fish, Mediterranean fish, exotic species from faraway areas of the World Ocean, mussels and algae. Varna Aquarium is situated 4 km north of Zelenika.

Asparuhovo is a district of Varna. It is located in the southern part of the town and has a population of 27 000. In the district are located the Institute of Oceanology and the Bulgarian Ship Hydrodynamics Center, both part of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
