The Almaty 2 or Almaty-2 is one of the oldest railway stations located in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The station serves an average daily footfall of approximately 5,000 passengers, which increases to around 10,000 during the summer months due to heightened travel demand.

Almaty Central Mosque is one of the largest mosques in Almaty, and in Kazakhstan. Designed to accommodate 7,000 worshippers, it was built on the site of the old mosque that dated to 1890 and caught fire in 1987. Almaty Central Mosque is situated 1¼ km southeast of Abylai khan.

Köktöbe or Koktyube is a hill in Almaty, Kazakhstan's largest city and former capital. At 1,100 meters above sea level, it is one of the main landmarks of the city and a symbol of Almaty. Kok Tobe is situated 5 km southeast of Abylai khan.
