The Schliffkopf is a mountain in the Northern Black Forest between Baiersbronn, Ottenhöfen and Oppenau. It is 1,053.6 m above sea level. The Schliffkopf lies on the Black Forest High Road in the National Park and is the site of an eponymous four-star "wellness" hotel. Schliffkopf is situated 3 km northwest of Forellenlädle.

Führerhauptquartier Tannenberg

Führerhauptquartier Tannenberg was a Führer Headquarters built in 1939 for use as a military command and control facility by Adolf Hitler. It was located near Freudenstadt and Hitler stayed there for a week in 1940 while inspecting the fortresses that formed the Maginot Line. Führerhauptquartier Tannenberg is situated 3 km south of Forellenlädle.

The Röschenschanze is a former schanze in Bad Peterstal-Griesbach in the Black Forest in Southern Germany. It is located on the L 402, the "Oppenauer Steige", which branches off from the B 500. Röschenschanze is situated 3½ km south of Forellenlädle.
