Sidi Merouane is a town and commune in Mila Province, Algeria. At the 1998 census it had a population of 20,018. A substantial proportion of the Greek speaking inhabitants of Cargèse on Corsica emigrated to Sidi Merouane in Algeria between 1874 and 1876. Sidi Merouane is situated 10 km northeast of Garde Communale.
