Kōfuku-ji is a Buddhist temple that was once one of the powerful Seven Great Temples in the city of Nara, Japan. The temple is the national headquarters of the Hossō school. It is part of Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara, a World Heritage Site. Koofukuji is situated 420 metres east of Hayabusa Shrine.

It was mostly destroyed in the Muromachi period and the old town of Naramachi occupies most of what was once the temple's precincts. Gangō-ji is situated 570 metres southeast of Hayabusa Shrine.
