Rock sculpture of Decebalus

The rock sculpture of Decebalus is a colossal carving of the face of Decebalus, the last king of Dacia, who fought against the Roman emperors Domitian and Trajan. Rock sculpture of Decebalus is situated 1¼ km west of Djerdap Gorge.

The Tabula Traiana or Trajan's Plaque is a Roman memorial plaque found on the Serbian side of the Iron Gates of the Danube. The plaque was erected by Roman Emperor Trajan to commemorate the completion of his military road along the Danube. Trajan’s Plaque is situated 2 km north of Djerdap Gorge.
