Potala Palace is a museum complex in Lhasa, the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. It was formerly the winter palace of the Dalai Lamas, and from 1649 until 1959 served as the Dalai Lamas' residence. Potala Palace is situated 720 metres east of 高原之宝.

Kundeling Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Lhasa, Tibet. It was founded around 1794, and follows the Gelug school. The head of the monastery belongs to a lineage of incarnations that dates back to 1402. Kundeling Monastery is situated 250 metres west of 高原之宝.
