Memar Ajami

Memar Ajami is a Baku Metro station. It was opened on 31 December 1985. It was formerly called Mikrorayon and is named after Ajami Nakhchivani. It became a transfer station to the Purple Line on 19 April 2016.

Baku Metro is a rapid transit system serving Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. First opened on 6 November 1967 when Azerbaijan was part of the Soviet Union, its features are typical of former Soviet systems, including very deep central stations and exquisite decorations that blend traditional Azerbaijani national motifs with Soviet ideology.

Baku White City is a planned urban development in the Xətai-Khatai district of Azerbaijan. It is part of the 2021 strategic plan for Baku. It refers to the re-development of a portion of Black City, a 221-hectare land area. White City is situated 6 km southeast of Xutor.
