Skowronia

Skowronia is a peak in Gmina Bolków, Jawor County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship and has an elevation of 454 metres. Skowronia is situated nearby to the village Gorzanowice, as well as near the hamlet Sześć Domków.

Świny Castle - formerly a gord, as a stronghold existed in its location already in the fifth century - securing the Lubawecki mountain pass, the site was recorded in Cosmas' documents from 1108, where the gord is recorded as Suini in Poloniae.

Bolków Castle

Bolków Castle is a castle located in Bolków on the Castle Hill, with a 396 metres, where the hillside is cut by the Nysa Szalona river, with a sharp precipice; the eastern side of the hill gradually lowers, taken up by the town.
