It also organizes archeological digs in Lithuania. National Museum of Lithuania is situated 140 metres south of Prieplauka.

Gediminas's Tower is the remaining part of the Upper Castle on top of the Gediminas Hill in Vilnius, Lithuania. It has a viewing platform that offers scenic views of Vilnius Old Town and Vilnius Central Business District. Gediminas Tower is situated 230 metres southeast of Prieplauka.

The Mindaugas Bridge is a bridge in Vilnius, Lithuania. It crosses Neris River and connects Žirmūnai elderate with the Old Town of Vilnius. The bridge was named after Mindaugas, King of Lithuania, and was opened in 2003 during the celebrations of the 750th anniversary of Mindaugas' coronation.
