The Church on the Hill is an architecturally significant church located in , in . This church is the most important monument of religious architecture in Sighisoara and is one of the great churches of , being the third largest.

The Historic Centre of Sighișoara is the old historic center of the town of , , built in the 12th century by Saxon settlers. It is an inhabited medieval citadel that, in 1999, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its 850-year-old testament to the history and culture of the Transylvanian Saxons. is situated 240 metres north of School on the Hill.
