Pefkari is a village on the island of Thasos, Greece. It is a popular tourist destination. Its name means "little pine tree" in the local dialect. It lies on the southern coast of the island, between the villages of Potos and Limenaria. Pefkari is situated 3½ km west of Ξύστ‘.

Kastro is a small village in the interior of the Greek island of Thasos. It is believed to be the oldest village on the island. The village name comes from the old castle that existed here to protect the inhabitants. Kastro is situated 5 km north of Ξύστ‘.
