Sungyang Hall is a fourteenth-century Confucian academy located on the side of Mt. Janam in Kaesong, North Korea. The hall was constructed in the late fourteenth century for the home of the famously loyal statesman and Confucian scholar Chŏng Mong-ju, whose 1392 assassination by the agents of the later Taejo of Joseon marked the end of the Koryo dynasty. Sungyang Seowon is situated 730 metres east of Kaesong Folk Hotel.

The Kaesŏng Youth Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Kaesŏng, North Korea. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 35,000 spectators and opened in 1988. Kaesong Youth Stadium is situated 1 km northeast of Kaesong Folk Hotel.

The Kaesong Namdaemun is the south gate of the old walled city of Kaesong, North Korea. Constructed between 1391 and 1393, it is the only one of the original seven citadel gates to survive mostly intact into the present. Namdaemun is situated 630 metres southeast of Kaesong Folk Hotel.
