Cugand is a former commune in the Vendée department in the Pays de la Loire region in western France. Before the creation of the departments with the French Republic, under the French Kingdom, the parish of Cugand was part of "Marches Bretagne-Poitou" and of Brittany on the religious level.

La Bernardière is a former commune in the Vendée department in the Pays de la Loire region in western France. It merged with the adjacent commune of Cugand on 1 January 2025 to form the commune of Cugand-la-Bernardière, but remains a delegated commune. La Bernardière is situated 3 km southeast of La Patouillerie.
