Enoshima is both a small island and a small seaside town next to the island in Kanagawa prefecture Fujisawa city, to the south of Tokyo. It's a popular beach destination and, on a nice summer day, has a bit of a laid-back California surfer vibe.

Enoshima Aquarium or New Enoshima Aquarium is a public aquarium located on Katase Beach in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Its nickname is "Enosui," an abbreviation of the Japanese name. Shin Enoshima Aquarium is situated 390 metres west of Katase-Enoshima.
