The Tour de Ratières, built in the commune of Ratières in the north of the Drôme département of France, is a medieval tower once the keep of a castle. Approximately 15 metres high and hexagonal in plan, it overlooks the village and the surrounding plain. Tour de Ratières is situated 3 km west of Mont Brofard.

Saint-Avit is a commune in the Drôme department in southeastern France. Saint-Avit was detached from the municipality of Ratières on November 15, 1869 and is located 17 km east of Saint-Vallier and 10 km north of Saint-Donat-sur-l'Herbasse. Saint-Avit is situated 3½ km west of Mont Brofard.
