Cristo del Pacífico

Cristo del Pacífico, "the Christ of the Pacific", is a 37-metre-high statue of Jesus erected in Lima, Peru, in 2011. Its erection was a gift from a consortium of Brazilian companies to the city of Lima, under former President Alan García, and described as a parting gift to the nation on occasion of his leaving office after the 2011 presidential election.

Estadio Municipal de Chorrillos is a municipal stadium in the Chorrillos District, Lima, Peru. It opened in 1993, and holds 12,000 people. The stadium's nickname is Cancha de los Muertos because the stadium was built over a cemetery. Estadio Municipal de Chorrillos is situated 270 metres northeast of Cristo del Pacífico.

Morro Solar is a headland in Chorrillos District, Lima, Peru. Named after Antonio del Solar, a Spanish encomendero and Conquistador, it is located south of the city, and is best known after the 1881 battle that took place there during the War of the Pacific.

The Monument to the Unknown Soldier is a memorial located on a plain on the slopes of the northern side of Morro Solar in the district of Chorrillos, in Lima, Peru. It is dedicated to those killed during the War of the Pacific. Monument to the unknown soldier is situated 350 metres northwest of Cristo del Pacífico.
