Berlin Hauptbahnhof is the railway hub and main station of Berlin. Although the station isn't large, the multi-level station may appear confusing for first-time visitors.

Bellevue Palace, located in Berlin's Tiergarten district, has been the official residence of the president of Germany since 1994. The schloss is situated on the banks of the Spree river, near the Berlin Victory Column, along the northern edge of the Großer Tiergarten park. Bellevue Palace is situated 460 metres southeast of Berlin Bellevue station.

The Hansaviertel is the smallest Ortsteil of Berlin and is between Großer Tiergarten and the Spree River, within the central Mitte borough of Berlin. The district was almost completely destroyed during World War II but was rebuilt from 1957 to 1961 as a social housing project by international master architects such as Alvar Aalto, Egon Eiermann, Walter Gropius, Oscar Niemeyer, and Sep Ruf.
