Platonic Academy

The Academy was founded by Plato in ca. 387 BC in Athens. Aristotle studied there for twenty years before founding his own school, the Lyceum. The Academy persisted throughout the Hellenistic period as a skeptical school, until coming to an end after the death of Philo of Larissa in 83 BC. Platonic Academy is situated 4 km south of ΔΙΟΣ.

Peristeri Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Peristeri, a city and a suburb within the Athens agglomeration, Greece. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Atromitos. Peristeri Stadium is situated 2½ km southwest of ΔΙΟΣ.

Anthoupoli

Anthoupoli is the northern terminal station of Athens Metro Line 2 since the Peristeri extension in April 2013. During planning in the late-1990s, the station was known as "Thivon", after a nearby major north-south road between Ilion and Piraeus. Anthoupoli is situated 1½ km southwest of ΔΙΟΣ.
