The Merkur or Großer Staufenberg is a mountain, 668.3 m above sea level, in the Northern Black Forest, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is the Hausberg of Baden-Baden and located between the spa town and the town of Gernsbach. Merkur is situated 560 metres northwest of Binsenwasen.

The Merkur Tower is an observation tower on the Merkur near Baden-Baden, at 8°16'50" E and 48°45'52" N. The tower has been in use since 8 April 1950 by the former SWF as a transmission tower for FM-radio and, since 1953, television. Merkur Tower is situated 540 metres northwest of Binsenwasen.
