Aného is a town of 25,000 people in southeastern Togo on the Gulf of Guinea near the border of Benin. Aného is an old German colonial town, and a centre of voodoo along the West African pilgrimage route Voodoo Trail, which connects Lomé with Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso.

Agoué is an arrondissement in the Mono department of Benin. It is an administrative division under the jurisdiction of the commune of Grand-Popo. According to the population census conducted by the Institut National de la Statistique Benin on February 15, 2002, the arrondissement had a total population of 9589. Agoué is situated 10 km east of Maison Original.
