Monument

The Jaworzno concentration camp was a concentration camp in the Second World War, German-occupied Poland and later in Communist Poland. It was first established by the Nazis in 1943 during WWII and was later used by the Soviet NKVD in 1945 to 1956. Memorial to the prisoners of the Central Labour Camp Jaworzno is situated 3 km southeast of Szczotki.

The Jaworzno Power Station is a complex of coal-fired thermal power stations at Jaworzno, Poland. The largest plant of the Jaworzno power plant complex is called Jaworzno III. Jaworzno Power Station is situated 2½ km south of Szczotki.
