Mito Station is a joint-use passenger railway station in the city of Mito, Ibaraki, Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company and the third sector Kashima Rinkai Railway. The station premises are managed by JR East. Mito is situated 330 metres southeast of Mito Tōshō-gū.

The Kōdōkan was the largest han school in Bakumatsu period Japan. Located in Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture, three of its buildings have been designated Important Cultural Properties and the school is a Special Historic Site. Kōdōkan is situated 490 metres northeast of Mito Tōshō-gū.
