Chapel of St. Francis Xavier is a church located on the island of Coloane, Macau. The chapel, built in 1928, is located on the southwestern coast of the island and stands near a monument commemorating a victory over pirates in 1910.

Coloane is the southern-most island of Macau. It used to be separated from Taipa to the north but the two are now joined by the reclaimed land of the Cotai Strip to form one huge island.

Cotai, also known as the Cotai Strip, is advertised as the "Las Vegas Strip of the East", and not without reason: it houses huge hotels and casinos, upscale shopping, sports facilities, golf courses and more.

Taipa is the centremost of the three regions of Macau. Taipa is situated between the Peninsula and Coloane island but is now joined with Coloane by Cotai, which was reclaimed from the sea.
