Helmholtz-Gymnasium Heidelberg is a state-funded gymnasium located on Rohrbacher Straße 102 in the Südstadt district of Heidelberg, Germany. Founded in 1835, it is now named Helmholtz-Gymnasium after Hermann von Helmholtz, but from 1927 until 1945 it was known as the Philipp Lenard Schule after Philipp Lenard. Helmholtz-Gymnasium Heidelberg is situated 310 metres south of Heidelberg-Weststadt/Südstadt.

The Hochschule für Kirchenmusik Heidelberg is a university of church music in Heidelberg and one of the most renowned ones in Germany. Its predecessor, Evangelisches Kirchenmusikalisches Institut Heidelberg was founded in 1931 by Meinhard Hermann Poppen to improve the training of church musicians for the Evangelical Church in Baden.
