The National Stadium, covering an area of 204,000 square meters with an 80,000 person capacity, broke ground in December 2003, officially started construction in March 2004, and was completed in June 2008. Bird’s Nest is situated 1 km south of Olympic Park.

The National Indoor Stadium, a.k.a. Folding Fan, is an arena located at Olympic Green in Chaoyang, Beijing, China. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people, and was constructed for the 2008 Summer Olympics. The Fan is situated 640 metres south of Olympic Park.

The Water Cube, fully a.k.a. the National Aquatics Centre, is a swimming center at the Olympic Green in Chaoyang, Beijing, China.
