Danube-Drava National Park

Danube-Drava National Park was founded in 1996 and is located in the south west of Hungary. The current area is 490 square kilometres and the majority of the national park sites are located within the Danube and Drava floodland areas, of which 190 km2 are Ramsar wetlands.

The Gandhi High School in Pécs, Hungary, was founded with donations given by several individuals from the private sector and with further donations from other organizations in 1992, this becoming the first high school for Romani people in Hungary, that has been actively operating since 1994.

Early Christian Necropolis of Pécs (Sopianae)

The Early Christian Necropolis of Pécs is a Roman cemetery and archeological site in Pécs, Hungary. Dating from the 4th century AD, the necropolis contains many decorated tombs, mausoleums, and burial chapels from the Early Christian period. Early Christian Necropolis of Pécs (Sopianae) is situated 3½ km southwest of Meszes.
