The Shusha fortress or Shushi fortress is a fortress surrounding the historical centre of Shusha. The newly conquered castle town was called "Panahabad fortress" named after Panah Ali Khan who together with Melik Shahnazar was the founder of the fort. Shusha fortress (1751 year) is situated 4 km south of SOCAR \ Xankəndi.

Krkjan or Karkijahan is a settlement near the city of Stepanakert. The village had an Armenian-majority population prior to the Khaibalikend massacre in 1919 and subsequently an Azerbaijani-majority population prior to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in 1988. Karkijahan is situated 2½ km west of SOCAR \ Xankəndi.
