La Casona

La Casona, since 13 December 2019 the headquarters of the Centro Cultural Aquiles Nazoa in La Carlota neighborhood of Caracas, was the official residence of the president of Venezuela from 1966 to 2012. Miraflores Palace replaced La Casona as the official residence, although some government official events and ceremonies are still held here in La Casona. La Casona is situated 1 km west of Los Cortijos station.

Los Dos Caminos is a Caracas Metro station on Line 1. It was opened on 23 April 1988 as the eastern terminus of the extension of Line 1 from Chacaíto. On 10 November 1989, the line was extended further to Palo Verde. Los Dos Caminos station is situated 800 metres northwest of Los Cortijos station.
