Sinseol-dong Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 1, the Seongsu Branch of Seoul Subway Line 2, and Ui LRT. There is a piece of track that connects the Line 1 and Line 2 stations, and Line 1 trains belonging to Seoul Metro are serviced at the Gunja Train Depot behind Yongdap Station using this connective track. Sinseol-dong is situated 400 metres east of Dongmyo Community Policing Center.

Dongmyo is a myo shrine in Downtown Seoul, South Korea. It was one of Guandi Temple built in honour of the 3rd century Chinese military commander, Guan Yu. Dongmyo Shrine is situated 370 metres south of Dongmyo Community Policing Center.

Heunginjimun, a.k.a. Dongdaemun, is one of The Eight Gates of Seoul in the Seoul City Wall, a prominent landmark in central Seoul, South Korea. The Korean name "Dongdaemun" means "Great East Gate," and it was so named because it was the major eastern gate in the wall that surrounded Seoul during the Joseon period. Dongdaemun is situated 1 km southwest of Dongmyo Community Policing Center.
