Karlsdorf

Karlsdorf was a village in the vicinity of Klymets, in what is now Stryi Raion, Lviv Oblast, of Western Ukraine. The village was established around 1835 by Karl Scheiff, the heir of Smozhe.

Veretskyi Pass or Verecke Pass is a mountain pass in Ukraine, one of the most important passes of the Inner Eastern Carpathian Mountains. Veretskyi Pass is situated 3½ km south of Karlsdorf.

Klymets is a selo in Stryi Raion, Lviv Oblast, of western Ukraine. More specifically, it is located in the Ukrainian Carpathians, within the limits of the Eastern Beskids in southwestern part of the oblast.

Ivashkivtsi is a village in Sambir Raion, Lviv Oblast, in south-west Ukraine. It belongs to Borynia, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. There is a Saint Michael Orthodox church in the village, built in 1921. Ivashkivtsi is situated 4½ km northwest of Karlsdorf.
