Mapo Station is a station on Seoul Subway Line 5 in Mapo-gu, Seoul. It is located close to the northeastern end of the Mapo Bridge. Mapo station is situated 350 metres north of Useong Sauna.

The Mapo Bridge crosses the Han River in South Korea and connects the Mapo District and the Yeongdeungpo District in the city of Seoul. Seoul Subway Line 5 also passes directly underneath the bridge through an underwater tunnel. Mapo bridge is situated 1 km west of Useong Sauna.

Sogang University is a private Jesuit research university in Mapo, Seoul, South Korea. Sogang University was established on April 18, 1960 by the Society of Jesus, with the school being the oldest and only Jesuit institution of higher education in the country.
