Matkiv is a village in Stryi Raion, Lviv Oblast, in south-west Ukraine. It belongs to Koziova rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. The village was probably established in the 15th century but was first mentioned in the first half of the 16th century. Matkiv is situated 3½ km southeast of Свининець.
