Bárbula is a locality located to the north of the Naguanagua Municipality, in the state of Carabobo, Venezuela. The area has great historical significance, being the site of the Battle of Bárbula in 1813, and today it is especially known for housing the main campus of the University of Carabobo, one of the most important higher education institutions in the central region of the country. Bárbula is situated 9 km northwest of Valle de Oro.
