Chapora is a coastal village at Chapora River estuary lying alongside a beach stretch in North Goa that is around 10 km. from Mapusa, a City in Northern Goa. Chapora Beach is situated 740 metres north of Jungle Hostel (west wing).

St. Michael's Church is a historic Roman Catholic church located in Anjuna, Goa state, India. It is one of the oldest churches still standing in Goa. It was built in 1613, to serve Goan Catholics in early colonial Portuguese India. St. Michael’s Church is situated 3 km southeast of Jungle Hostel (west wing).
