Choroní is a coastal locality in the far north of the municipality of Girardot, Aragua state, Venezuela. It is located on the outskirts of the coastal mountain range.

Chuao is a small village located in the northern coastal range mountains of Venezuela, founded in 1660. The village is famous for its cacao plantations, Diablos danzantes and San Juaneras. Chuao is situated 9 km east of Faro Choroní.
