Hongik University station is a station on Seoul Subway Line 2, AREX and the Gyeongui–Jungang Line. As its name indicates, it serves the nearby Hongik University. Hongik University is situated 440 metres north of GS25.

Sangsu station is a subway station on Seoul Subway Line 6. Along with Hongik University station on Line 2, it serves the area commonly called Hongdae, albeit geographically less convenient. Sangsu station is situated 560 metres south of GS25.

Sogang University is a private Jesuit research university in Mapo, Seoul, South Korea. Sogang University was established on April 18, 1960 by the Society of Jesus, with the school being the oldest and only Jesuit institution of higher education in the country. Changjeon-dong is a legal dong of Mapo District, Seoul, South Korea. It was merged with Sangsu-dong into Seogang-dong in January 2007.

Seodaemun-Mapo
