Klawer is a town in the Matzikama Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is situated on the right bank of the Olifants River, 17 kilometres south-east of Vredendal and 240 kilometres north of Cape Town. Klawer is situated 7 km west of Gifberg.
