Surami is a small town in Georgia’s Shida Kartli region with a population of 7,492 as of 2014. It is a popular mountain climatic resort and a home to a medieval fortress.

Khashuri is a city in the central part of Georgia and is the 9th largest settlement in Georgia. It is the administrative centre of Khashuri Municipality.

Kemperi is a village in Khashuri Municipality of Shida Kartli region in Georgia. The village is located 11.5 km from Khashuri and 6.5 km from Surami, 800 m above sea level. According to the 2014 census it had a population of 350. Kemperi is situated 4 km northeast of ვულკანიზაცია.
