The Château de Richelieu was an enormous 17th-century château built by the French clergyman, nobleman, and statesman Cardinal Richelieu in Touraine. It was demolished for building materials in 1805 and almost nothing of it remains today. Château de Richelieu is situated 3½ km northeast of La Maurinière.
