Lorient is a railway station in Lorient, Brittany, France. The station was opened on 26 September 1862 is located on the Savenay–Landerneau railway. Today, the station is served by TGV, Intercités and TER services operated by the SNCF. Lorient station is situated 2½ km west of Kerfrehour.

Lanester is a commune in the Morbihan department in Brittany, in north-western France. It is the largest suburb of the city of Lorient, across the river Scorff to the east. Lanester Velodrome Stadium was built there in 2015.
