Rokata is a village in the Java district of South Ossetia, Georgia. It is located in the center of the country, situated on the Liakhvi river. Rokata is situated 5 km north of Chetari.

Java or Dzau is a town of approximately 1,500 people in the disputed de facto independent Republic of South Ossetia, internationally considered part of Shida Kartli, Georgia. Java is situated 7 km west of Chetari.
