It is located 510 meters above sea level on the northeastern slope of the Tsiv-Gombori Range, on the Bakurtsikhe-Tsnori highway, 14 kilometers from Gurjaani. Kardanakhi is situated 3½ km southeast of Bakurtsikhe.
