The Heydar Mosque is a mosque, located in the Binəqədi raion of Baku, in Azerbaijan. Opened on 26 December 2014, the mosque is named after Heydar Aliyev, a former President of Azerbaijan. Heydar Mosque is situated 420 metres northwest of Araz.

Baku Metro is a rapid transit system serving Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. First opened on 6 November 1967 when Azerbaijan was part of the Soviet Union, its features are typical of former Soviet systems, including very deep central stations and exquisite decorations that blend traditional Azerbaijani national motifs with Soviet ideology. Nasimi is situated 260 metres southwest of Araz.
