Gomae-dong is a quarter in Giheung-dong, Giheung District, Gyeonggi. Gomae-dong is situated nearby to the quarter Gongse-dong, as well as near Yeongcheon-dong.

Dongtan station is a station on the Suseo high-speed railway, SRT, and GTX-A. The latter began to operate in December 9, 2016. This station is in the Yulhyeon Tunnel. Dongtan is situated 3 km south of Gomae-dong.

Korean Folk Village is a living museum type of tourist attraction in the city of Yongin, a satellite city in the Seoul Metropolitan Area in the province of Gyeonggi in South Korea. Korean Folk Village is situated 4 km north of Gomae-dong.

Dongtan is a township in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi, South Korea, with many shops and restaurants. It includes four residential skyscrapers of 70–80 floors, collectively called "Metapolis", which also contains a shopping mall. Dongtan New Town is situated 2½ km southwest of Gomae-dong.
