The Estadio Latinoamericano is a stadium in Havana, Cuba. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the second largest baseball stadium in the world by capacity. Latin American Stadium is situated 1¼ km west of Cuatro Caminos.

The National Library José Martí is the national library of Cuba. It is located in Havana and named after the national hero José Martí. This library was established on October 18, 1901. National Library is situated 2 km west of Cuatro Caminos.

Havana Central is the main railway terminal in Havana and the largest railway station in Cuba. It serves as the hub of the rail system in the country. It handles the arrival and departure of national and divisional commuter trains, and is home to the national railway company, Ferrocarriles Nacionales de Cuba, the only intercity passenger rail transport operating in the Caribbean. Central Railway Station is situated 1½ km northeast of Cuatro Caminos.

Bordered on the east by Calzada de Infanta and Central Havana, and on the west by the Alemendares River and Miramar / Playa district, Vedado is a more modern part of the city than the areas to the east, developed in the first half of the 20th century, during the Republic period. Vedado is situated 3 km northwest of Cuatro Caminos.
